* Costa Rica Consular Travel Visa - Your passpost should have more than six valid months remaining. * There is a exit tax that coresponds to US$20 or the equivalent in Colons. Anyone who stays for more than 24 hours in the country must pay this tax before travelling.
* The Official currency is the Colon. The exchange is 468 colons/to US$1. To any visitors coming from Europe it is warned the the charges for exchanging Euros are elevated, able to be up to 10% less than the fixed amount set by the Central European Bank, it is reccomended that you exchange your EURO to Dollar before arriving in the country.
